JACKSONVILLE is located in southern Vermont, and is actually a village in the larger town of Whitingham.

Jacksonville is close to some larger towns: 20 miles from Greenfield, MA, or about 25 miles from either Brattleboro, VT, or Bennington, VT.

It is only 13 miles from the large resort of Mount Snow in West Dover, VT, and a little further from Stratton and Okemo resorts.

Jacksonville and its northern neighbor, Wilmington, make up the Twin Valley School system.

Harriman Reservoir and Molly Stark State Park are just a few miles away, and the Appalachian Trail runs through the Green Mountain National Forest about 20 miles to the west.
